{EA Bride Magazine} Check it out!

Several months ago, the absolutely lovely and talented Kelly Acock, creative director at EA Bride magazine and amazing local floral artist at Monarch Flowers, contacted me with a vintage inspired broach and a mission. I was to use this broach as inspiration for an eco-friendly bouquet for their upcoming second issue. Beaming with excitement, I accepted Kelly's challenge. Little did Kelly know, I had been dying to do a broach bouquet for the longest time...and now was my chance!! Little did I know, how many broaches one little bouquet would take!!

Sara+Lance : Devine Studios Photography

Devine Studios Photography created true works of art with the images from Sara and Lance's wedding! Sara and Lance had a beach side wedding....in Kansas City!!! Their October ceremony and reception were both held at Lake Quivira Country Club, overlooking the sandy beach of Lake Quivira. Sara's words to me when we initially met - "I want it to look like a page from a magazine!!". So we pulled out all the stops with lighting, draping, crystals, the whole sha-bang! It was a blast! Special thanks to Innovative Lighting in Kansas City for their fantastic work on the lighting and ceremony draping. We added some crystal and orchid strands and some uplighting to the centerpieces to give Sara her bling dream wedding!!

Thank you to the FABULOUS Claire Ryser at Visionaire Photography for these photos of Nicole and James' wedding day!! These two lovebirds were married in August at James P Davis Hall - which is arguably one of the most beautiful, scenic city-owned venues in Kansas City. It's located in Wyandotte Park and is a stunning stone and wood building with a huge stone porch that overlooks the lake. Completely LOVELY!

Earlier this year, we did a destination wedding for Vanessa and Chris. They were married on the beach in a stunning outdoor ceremony in Mexico followed by a hometown reception here in Leawood at the Ironwoods Lodge.
